INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE AND SUCCESS STORIES.   Business litigation and patent prosecution matters have been handled for companies in the telecommunications, semiconductor, cosmetics, medical products, lighting, equine, oilfield drilling, sports equipment and chemical industries.  The examples of these experiences include: defense of a manufacturer of inhalation products accused of patent infringement and facing $62M in damages, where after a bench trial ruling that the patent was invalid, the case settled; pursuing infringement cases against makers of telecommunication interfaces, and after favorable, preliminary rulings, settling those cases; trademark and copyright cases over nail treatments, software, and inspection services, for which a significant part of the legal fees were paid under advertising injury insurance coverage; successful mediation of contract repudiation cases.
